Bible Museum Uses Tom Cruise/Celebrity Wax Figures to Recreate Scenes

Bible Walk in Mansfield, Ohio, is not your typical museum—it’s dubbed as a Bible museum. What’s more, you’re likely to see some very familiar faces gracing the galleries of this unusual attraction. That’s because the Bible Walk museum features more than 300 old wax figures of celebrities in stages recreations of well-known Biblical stories.

Everything from the story of King Solomon—featuring a worn-out Elizabeth Taylor (below)—to the Nativity scene, features famous faces that are sure to make you do a double-take. This includes royals, like younger versions of Prince Phillip and Prince Charles, but with added wigs and facial hair to compliment the scene.

The wax effigies were purchased from waxwork museums that were closing down, or were replacing their famous figures with more modern updates.

According to the Daily Mail, museum director Julia Mott-Hardin tries not to publicize the famous faces, but word of the unusual attraction has gained notoriety nevertheless.

“I’ve had calls from people who wanted to take the tour,” said Mott-Hardin. “But only if I accompanied them point out the celebrities. I refused. The museum is about glorifying God and his works.”
